activities of the Feher Bot
Foundation
Introduction
The Foundation was established in 1996 by a blind
person
committed to the rehabilitation of blind and partially-sighted people
at
Hajdúdorog Nánási Street
Originally the objective of the founders was to
rehabilitate
some 400 blind and 200 partially-sighted people in the vicinity of
Hajdődorog.
In the last ten years the range of the Foundation
work has
increased significantly both because of the larger number of the
’clientele’
embraced and the larger geographical area in witch the Foundation
operates.
The main aim of the Foundation is to promote the
socal
integration of blind and partially-sighted poeple including those with
additional disabilities.
Further, the Foundation is developing support and
back-up
services to improve the lives of all citizens with sight problems
